Background of CEDA
The Community and Environmental Development Association (CEDA) is a non-profit organization based in Kyaukpyu, Rakhine, Myanmar.
The Coastal Region Mangrove Conservation Organization (CRMCO) was founded on December 5, 2016 in Kyaukphyu, Rakhine State. CRMCO was renamed the Community and Environmental Development Association (CEDA) on December 16, 2020. It has the registration number 02/Rakhine/034. CEDA’s vision is to create harmony between humans and their environment and to ensure that development is sustained for future generations.
What is CEDA?
The Community and Environmental Development Association (CEDA) focuses on environmental conservation and capacity building, field study and research activities, community development and disaster risk reduction, environmental rights, and humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities and marginalised population groups.
